That's right, I'm already wishing for snow in early September. I headed to Minnesota this weekend for the Hay Days Grass Drags and Swap Meet. I have been looking for a sled since last winter, and from what I had heard, this was the place to go. The swap was huge. It took us a good 5 or 6 hours to just walk all the aisles, and that's not even counting the vendor area. The Arctic Cat tent was pretty sweet; they were handing out free sno cones, and I got to see Tucker Hibbert in the flesh. But on to the snowmobile: 2002 Arctic Cat ZR 600 (w/carbs).

This baby is super clean, dare I say Breen Clean. An older guy from Green Bay had owned it since it was new and had kept it in tip top shape over 3600 miles. Needless to say I am pretty pumped. Snow wheelies, here I come.

It's ok, you arn't the only one who wants the snow to come. I want to see what AWD can do. BTW the Farmers Almanac is predicting a normal winter temperature wise, with above average snow for our area. And according to some solar analysts, we may be entering a solar minimum, a period of 50-70 years with below normal temps. (they occur about every 400 years and the last one ended in the 1600's so it would be about that time...SICC!!
