Little Wheels

Got the white Trek pieced back together on Monday night. Tried to throw the V-brakes on it, but hassle after hassle ended up with me tossing the Juicy 7's on. Got it all buttoned up and ready to rock, though. Headed out to Evergreen for the Tuesday MTB ride, and we had a pretty good group. A vintage Dean Titanium hardtail with Paul cantis even made an appearance. I must say going back to the little wheels and a suspension fork was a little uncomfortable for a while, but by the end of the ride I was feeling quite a bit faster. Had some delicious snausages during the post ride cookout in the Quarry parking lot that lasted till 10.

I played my final week of the JOA Golf League yesterday with the President of JOA. Thankfully I played well, and I was even in the lead for closest to the pin on the par 3 when I left the course yesterday. The Prez also took a fancy to my vintage Wilson Staff Dynapower clubs and has reserved first dibs on them if I ever sell them.

Death Trap

Word has it that the same log jump at Sheboygan that took out my bike also took out Tristan Schouten's collarbone. At least I only broke a frame.........

Death

I finally have something blog worthy to report in my life. While riding the Evergreen XC trails in Sheboygan (site of the Wigwam WORS race), I created a new frame for VooDoo Cycles. Check out the new Short Wheelbase model of the Dambala frame.
Hopefully VooDoo will reward me with a new frame for my efforts. I guess I'll have to bring the White Trek out of retirement for a few weeks while my sponsor and I figure things out. Hopefully they will be able to send me a seat, too, as my beloved 'Cuda saddle has sustatined some damage. Enjoy some more pictures of the carnage...
